Description

Westmalle Tripel is a famous Belgian Trappist golden strong pale ale, known as the “mother of all tripels,” first brewed in 1934, boasting a 9.5% ABV, fruity banana/hop aromas, a complex spicy flavor with notes of pepper and clove, a creamy texture, and a dry finish, making it a benchmark for the style.

  • Origin: Brewed at the Westmalle Trappist Monastery in Belgium, one of the few Authentic Trappist breweries.
  • Appearance: Clear, golden-yellow with a creamy white head.
